PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
Pursuant to and in accordance with the Aroostook County Charter, a public hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at 4:30 p.m. in the District Courtroom of the Caribou Courthouse.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to present to the general public the proposed 2026-2027 General Fund, Jail Fund, and Unorganized Territory Fund budgets.
Copies of the proposed budgets can be requested by calling (207) 493-3318, or by emailing [email protected].
Members of the Aroostook County Finance Committee and Board of County Commissioners will be present to accept written and oral comments on the proposed budgets. Comments can be mailed to 144 Sweden Street, Suite 1, Caribou, ME 04736 or emailed to [email protected].
